Extra! Extra! Tom Cruise set to appear on Oprah tomorrow for the first of a two part special!!!

And I can't flippin' wait! Now, as many of you know, I am a devoted Tom fan (see: 5/8/06 posting) and have refused to just tow the line like some sort of sheep-cow-goat-sheep and dismiss him as a crazy loon (which he may very well be, but that doesn't mean I have to dismiss him for it, or love him any less for that matter. Some of the most influential and awe-inspiring people throughout history have been certified nut jobs. And that's a fact! We're talkin' Peter the Great! Vincent Van Gogh! Ivan the Terrible! Vlad the Impaler! King George the IV! Hitler! What's that you say? Many of the aforementioned people weren't just crazy, but guilty of atrocities of immeasurable proportions thereby completely undermining my point? Fair enough. In hindsight I probably should have chosen my examples more carefully. It could have potentially given my argument a lot more credibility). But the point still stands: I F-ing love Tom Cruise and can't wait for him to redeem himself tomorrow. I just know Oprah's going to give him a fair shot at proving what a nice person he really is, and remind us that he has turned out more movie magic than almost any single actor in contemporary movie history.

So basically what I guess I'm saying is: suck my ass Tom haters! I'll see you in hell!
